Knives Out is a primary a prime example of a pastiche film for several reasons : 

Agatha Christie Homage : The works of the queen of classic mysteries, Agatha Christie, served as a major inspiration for the film's plot and character archetypes. The strange family get-together, the remote mansion, the different suspects with dubious intentions, and the astute investigator who pieces together the truth through painstaking observation and inference are all there. Think Hercule Blanc meets Poirot!

 The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021) - Mike Rianda

The Mitchells vs. the Machines is a pastiche film in the best possible way :

Animation Style Mashup : The movie deviates from a single animation style. It creates a visually dynamic and distinctive experience by fusing together stop-motion, 3D computer-generated imagery, 2D hand-drawn animation, and even live-action footage. The film is visually captivating and remains fresh due to this stylistic mashup, which highlights the potential of animation.

Cinematics Influence : The Mitchells are influenced by a wide range of historical periods and genres of film. The sci-fi aspects and robot uprising are reminiscent of movies like Independence Day and Iron Giant, while the family road trip setting is reminiscent of beloved 80s family comedies. The film's fast-paced action scenes and peculiar humor are also reminiscent of Edgar Wright and Wes Anderson's work.

Pop Culture References Galore : The movie is full of Easter eggs and allusions to different celebrities from popular culture. Nxde - (G)I-DLE (Son Seung Hee, 2022)

This movie is influenced by the Marilyn Monroe. There are a lot of iconic scene such as Minnie ( a member of (G)I-DLE ) sitting surrounded by men with pink heart. It looks a like the iconic heart scene from Monroe. I think this is pastiche because (G)I-DLE want to encourage women through the symbol from Marilyn Monroe. The music video is about when you are wandering, or conflicted in the face of an important decision, you have to look at your true, honest self. 

Parody : A work of art that imitates the style, techniques, or elements of another work of art for humorous or critical effect.

Sing 2 ( 2021 ) - Garth Jennings

Sing 2 (2021) isn't a true parody movie in the conventional sense, despite having some parody elements. This is the reason why:

Exaggerated characters and tropes: The movie parodies well-known show business and music clichés, such as the cunning music mogul, the struggling artist, and the diva with a secret talent. These characters frequently border on the absurd in their exaggerated and humorous humor.

Funny references and tributes: Sing 2 is full of pop culture references as well as tributes to vintage musicals and music videos. The songs are frequently parodies of popular songs, occasionally with lighthearted twists.

Satire and self-awareness: The movie occasionally makes fun of its own formulaic style and is conscious of it. This self-awareness keeps the movie from becoming overly serious while also adding a humorous element.

Holmes and Watson ( 2018 ) - Etan Cohen

It is true that Holmes & Watson (2018) is a parody movie for the following reasons: Characters and Scenes Exaggerated : The movie takes the traditional Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes personas and turns them into humorous parodies. While John C. Reilly's Watson is bumbling, naive, and frequently the joke's butt, Will Ferrell's Holmes is eccentric, flamboyant, and prone to absurd deductions. A distinguishing feature of parody is the exaggeration of characters' personalities and common circumstances in the Sherlock Holmes universe. Makes Fun of Classic Tropes : The movie makes a point of making fun of the Sherlock Holmes genre's cliches and conventions. The action scenes are ridiculous and slapstick, the mysteries are nonsensical, and the deductions are nonsensical. One of the main components of parody is this deliberate subversion of expectations.

Comparing Holmes & Watson to the Original Works : Although it draws inspiration from the first Sherlock Holmes stories, Holmes & Watson makes no real attempt to be a faithful adaptation or even a sincere tribute. Its main goal is to make the audience laugh by making fun of and misrepresenting the original material, thus establishing that it is a parody.

IDOL - BTS (Choi Yong Seok, 2018)

This music video is about a vibrant celebration of self-love, artistic freedom, and Korean cultural identity. However, this music video also diss the K-netizen ( Korean network citizen ) about being too harsh to K-POP idols with many rules that they posed the standard beauty.

I think this is parody because in the scene they dance the chorus, they wear traditional Hanbok but also wearing sneakers and sunglasses at the same time, which shows their freedom and sarcasming the K-netizen culture for being KPOP idols.
